'Man's best friend' has never been more apt; they are hearing dogs, guide dogs, rescue dogs and our companions at the same time. Loyalty is a word that crops up when talking about labs and rightly so - these dogs will defend you 'till the end and spend every day of their lives trying to make you happy. Whilst undeniably a beautiful dog (the chubby body, big wagging tail and oversized ears) I believe the dog's personality shines through and is what makes it so beautiful - those eyes don't lie.
